Receptions

Receptions at the 3rd Street Gallery celebrate new art shows on the first Saturday of each month from 4-6 pm.  In 2013, receptions will be May 4th, June 1st, July 6th, August 3rd, September 7th, October 5th and December 7th. Refreshments are served. Winners of the shows are announced. Everyone is welcome to attend. The receptions are open to the public and usually pretty fun.

Calendar Kickoff

The Sangres Art Guild Calendar is a prestigious benefit for artists selected for the calendar. It also promotes SAG and acknowledges vital community Art Guild sponsors. The calendar is sold at the 3rd Street Gallery and other community and regional businesses to promote the arts in the Wet Mountain Valley.

Come to the reception May 4th, 2013 from 4-6pm where the Juror’s Choice award will be announced.  Participate in the People’s Choice award.  Door prizes will be given away, and sumptuous hors d’oeuvres will be served.  The public is welcome!

Arts Hullabaloo!

Arts Hullabaloo! is a free public event focused on children of all ages to increase wonder, understanding and appreciation of the arts. It also serves to bring commerce to the valley and bring community and tourists together for a fun art-filled weekend.

Alla Prima Westcliffe

Alla Prima Westcliffe draws artists to paint the valley and town. Tourists come to watch artists create and paricipate in the competition.  Entry fees are used to support community projects conducted by the Guild.
