Holiday Show – Small Works, Great Value
The Sangres Art Guild’s up and coming Holiday Show is a non-juried show focused on smaller artworks of exceptional value for holiday giving. Intake for the show is Sunday and Monday, November 25 & 26. Artwork must be 350 sq. in. or less (frame size) or small if sculpture. It is open to all artists; Original 2D Art, Photography, & 3D, jewelry and Fabric Art art accepted. The Art Show & Sale will run November 29 – December 23, 2018. The show is held at the 3rd Street Gallery, which also features a unique variety of art on the 2nd floor as well. There will be 3 People’s Choice awards announced at the Reception, on Saturday, December 1, from 4pm to 6pm. Come and enjoy some refreshments before or after the parade. Photography and Table Top Show: A Unique View
The reception for the Photography & Table Top Show was held at the 3rd Street Gallery November 3rd. The show was enjoyed by local residents and art lovers from Highlands Ranch, Boulder, Denver and Colorado Springs.
The show boasted 23 artists showcasing 39 photos of various subject matter and 23 Table Top art pieces from Fine Art to 3 Dimensional Art. Entrants were from Custer County, Denver, Gardner, Canon City and Colorado Springs.
People’s Choice awards in Photography went to

- Gerri Duke of Canon City for “Times Past”, photography
- Charlene Roake of Colorado Springs for her oil “Winter Warmth”, table top

The show runs until November 24th. Make sure you come and check out this unique show, which is sponsored by the Sangres Art Guild and held at the 3rd Street Gallery at 59000 Highway 69 North. Our next show is our annual “Holiday Show” with an artists’ reception on Saturday, Dec. 1. The show runs from November 29th to December 22.
