Fall Into Winter Winners

Congratulations to the winners of the People’s Choice Awards for the “Fall Into Winter” show. Fine Art category first place was shared by three artists as the voting made it a tie:  Michael Arterburn for his oil painting “Aspen Grove,” Wildra Ruzanski for her oil painting “Denizen of Spread Eagle” and Pattie Wall for her pastel “The Three.” The winner for the category that includes photography, sculpture, fiber, and other went to Greg Smith for his photograph “Winter Evening, Highway 69.” There are almost 90 pieces of artwork for this show, so if you haven’t seen it, stop on my.  The show runs until the 23rd of December and the Gallery is open 11 – 4 Thursday – Monday. Many pieces are priced right for Holiday Gift Giving. We can’t think of a better gift, than the GIFT OF ART.

Fall Into Winter December 7 Reception

With Thanksgiving over, don’t forget to attend the “Fall Into Winter” reception this coming Saturday, Dec 7 from 2 to 4 p.m. Holiday refreshments will be served and there will be a time of Christmas carol singing/listening with keyboard accompaniment by Liz VanSomeren.

Come join in the festivities and fun! Two floors of artwork and possible gift items for you to explore!  Note the time of the reception is 2-4pm, which will allow you to have plenty of time to check out the various holiday craft shows, Festival of Trees and open houses throughout town, and stay for the Parade at 5pm.

Reschedule of Fall Into Winter Show

Due to the snow piling up this week, intake for the Fall Into Winter Show has been extended to include Sunday and Monday, November 3 & 4, 11am-4pm. Because of that, the first reception for the Fall Into Winter Show has been postponed to November 9, 4-6pm. That change will be reflected on the Prospectus page.

The theme of the November 9 reception is the ’50’s, with food, music and attire to reflect that era. Come dressed for ’50’s fashion fun!

There will be no reception this Saturday, November 2.

Removal of unsold artwork from the Alla Prima Show has also been extended due to the weather. There will be no storage fee of artwork not picked up, as long as artists make other arrangements to fetch their artwork in a timely manner (by the end of November).

Thanks for your understanding! When we scheduled this show a year ago, we imagined that October would still be Fall.
