Commemorate the end of summer in the Sangres with the latest and greatest fine art and photography. The Show is open to artists and photographers of all ages, SAG members and non-members, 2D and 3D artworks in all mediums are accepted. Go to the High Peaks Art Show Page for the prospectus.
The Show will run September 3 – 28, and the opening reception is Saturday, September 5, 11am-4pm. Social Distancing and Masks are required. Attendees will be able to vote for People’s Choice Awards and refreshments will be available.
The art show is sponsored by the Sangres Art Guild, a non-profit, and is open to the public, artists, art lovers and collectors.
There is still time to see SAG’s Shades of Summer Art Show at the 3rd St. Gallery in Westcliffe. It runs until August 31. You can also purchase a 2021 SAG Fine Art Calendar at the gallery, online, or from many Westcliffe businesses.
1st Place: Judy Sprague of Poncha Springs – “Waiting To Dance” – Pastel
2nd Place: Jeanie Truitt of Canon City – “Midnight Glow” – Watercolor
The show had 40 unique entries with new and returning artists. The voting was close.
