2018 Calendar Art Competition: “Somewhere Special”

Our annual Fine Art Calendar reception was another great start to the season! The artists’ reception was on May 13 at the 3rd Street Gallery and hosted folks from around the country for good food, good drink, good company and enjoyment of great artwork.

Thirteen great artworks were chosen on March 4 by the artists who entered the show (present to vote), and by our sponsors. Reception attendees voted for 2 Peoples’ Choice artworks, each garnering a $50 cash award.

There were 61 entries from 31 participating artists. 20 artists and sponsors voted for the above winners, many of whom had comments such as “…it was so hard to pick the winners — so many nice works!”
