Artist's Statement

Frequent visits to the Wet Mountain Valley as a child fueled my deep appreciation for open spaces and soaring mountains. I am lucky to now live in the mountains - a dream come true! The incredible light, color, culture, and scenery offer never-ending inspiration for my art. I have studied with Gerald Merfeld for the past ten years and have participated in workshops given by Sarah Woods. Their expertise and generosity have been invaluable to my artistic growth.
