I have always known that "art" was the path of expression for me. So...GO back - and then go way, way back, when I was a child, growing up in Englewood, Co. - that's when I listened to my heart and began painting for myself and others. The momentum mushroomed when upon retirement from teaching K-8 in Jeffco, I moved from the Denver area, to the 'flat lands' of Kansas (to be closer to aging family members), then back, only this time to the 'high country' of Colorado. This creative wave within me ~ has ebbed and flowed for 45+ years. In the midst of all this, I listened to my muse to paint for myself and others as well as always trying to share with others that LOVE for creating, seeing and learning. I try to allow my environment to influence and guide me an attempt to DO art every day. When I paint or when I create - I love value, color and light in all things beautiful, organic or fixed. I paint what I LOVE! I recently acquired a large weaving loom which I am in the throes of learning to weave ~ as an art form. I welcome you to visit my website and blog www.pattiewall.com, where I journal about creating my art. I sell some of my works ONLINE at Etsy and Daily Paintworks, as well as the 3rd Street Gallery in Westcliffe. Find me on Facebook – Pattie Wall – Fine Artist.
