SAG Announces 2017 Calendar and Show

prospectus

Artists and advertisers take note: Your chance to be part of the Sangres Art Guild’s 2017 Fine Art Calendar and show is coming up.

Our 2017 theme is “Secret Places.” The calendar and show are open to original 2D, 3D and photographic works from all artists, who may submit up to three works.

Sponsors of the calendar can choose full-, half- or one-third-banner ads, which appear below each month’s calendar grid and are tax deductible. All advertising artwork and payments are due by Feb. 28. Sponsors will also receive 12 copies of the calendar for a full banner ad, six for a half banner and four for a third. They may keep or sell them at the suggested retail price of $10 each.

Intake of framed artwork is set for 10am to 2pm March 5 at the 3rd Street Gallery in Westcliffe. Participating artists can enjoy refreshments from 3pm to 4pm that day and vote for the 13 works to be in the calendar.

In the event of inclement weather, intake and voting will be March 6, or March 12 if the weather remains bad through the scheduled weekend.

An opening reception for the Calendar Show, which will hang through June 4, is set for May 7 from 4pm to 6pm at the 3rd Street Gallery.

For still more information or to reserve your advertising space, please email contact@sangresartguild.org.

The 3rd Street Gallery remains open from 10am to 3pm on Mondays through April. Summer hours are 11am to 4pm Thursday through Monday.
