Kate McCabe

Kate McCabe

Kate McCabe uses oil and acrylic paint on primed canvas and her style is super realism.  She had exhibited in one, two man shows and won a fair number of awards several years ago. She had gallery representation in New York, Florida, Illinois and Wisconsin. She resided in Chicago and studied at the University of Illinois and the American Academy of Art.  Upon moving to La Veta she has started painting again, focusing on positive and negative spaces, strong composition and brilliant color.

Carol Putnam

Carol Putnam 2

After photographing for many years with every camera format from 8×10 to 35mm, Carol Putnam has been using the iPhone almost exclusively for the last two years.  She enjoys exploring its creative potential & experimenting with the iPhone photography applications.

Carols’s work is constantly evolving.  She uses photography to bring her visions to life.  Her work, in general, has become more abstract over the years while her realistic work has become more symbolic.  She strives for a sense of mystery and wants the viewer to find their own meaning in her work.

Kristina Adams

Kristina Adams

Kristina Adams is currently pursuing her MA degree in sculpture at Adams State University and received a BFA from Fontbonne University.  She presently works and resides in La Veta, Colorado.

Her work strives to invite the viewer to experience the connection between themselves and the sublime through form. The abstract art form becomes a reminder of the strength, beauty, light, and harmony within.  Her mediums range from fabric to clay and steel to wood. The combination of materials provides dimensionality and interest for contemplation.
