WELCOME!

The Sangres Art Guild in Custer County, Colorado, promotes the arts in the Wet Mountain Valley to create a dynamic, supportive environment for the visual arts to flourish. We operate the 3rd Street Gallery in Westcliffe to provide support for our members’ artistic endeavors and foster commerce in our community through the visual arts.

Members - We need your support as a Volunteer!

Our Artist Members are also the volunteers that passionately bring their expertise to each and every aspect of the gallery, including behind the scenes through social media, planning, and website operations.Learn more about becoming a Volunteer.

Welcome our new Gallery Manager!

We are thrilled to have Eileen Piasecki-Couch as our new Gallery Manager!

I have lived in Westcliffe about 10 years, and have been a member of SAG for 6 years. I lived most of my life in Rural New York and worked as a Microbiologist for American Home Products, currently Pfizer Pharmaceuticals until I started my own business (The Pine Island Herb and Spice Company). After 28 years with my own business supplying products to over 60 grocery stores, I sold my company in 2014 and retired to Colorado with my husband when he retired from Pfizer. Since that time, I have worked as an EMT for Custer County Ambulance and Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center with the Ambulance Service and in the ER. Most recently, I worked for the Custer County Public Health Center. I am also a private pilot, and when able, fly non-medical emergency patients for Angel Flight West. I’m currently retired and volunteer for Sangre Arts Guild.

The next time you are visiting the gallery, please say hello to her!

If you have any questions or concerns, email Eileen at gallerymanager@sagboard.org

Welcome our new Treasurer!

We are delighted to announce that Mindi has agreed to become the treasurer for SAG!

Here is a brief introduction:

"Happy to meet everyone. I am Mindi Davis and have been a member of the Westcliffe/Silver Cliff community for ~5 years now, and in the State of Colorado for over 10 years. I own a home in the Eastcliffe subdivision which I share with my 13-year-old pug, Sadie..." Read more here.

There are still several volunteer positions we are seeking to fill. It is important to us to continue to bring art education and inspiration to our community!

We cannot do this without the generous donation of time and expertise by our volunteers. Please take a look at these roles and email board@sagboard.org.

Thank you for your consideration!
