The October Show is a celebration of the amazing beauty we are surrounded by. It is a time our ancestors and many of us today still give thanks to the harvest of months of care and growing. Artists have a way of expressing their gratitude in creations and this show is for that. It is also the Westcliffe Wide Gallery Fest on the day of our show's reception, October 4th, from 1-4. We will have music, lots of art, a demo artist, Danika Lee, pumpkin painting, refreshments and lots of smiling connecting faces! Put it on the calendar, savor the changing aspens and the smell of fall, enjoy all the open galleries of Westcliffe! We will be offering a free activity~ so bring your family! We'll be offering small pumpkins to paint your own unique faces on! And we will have some fun teens in costumes to help, so make sure you put the reception date on your calendar, get the spirit moving! Selecting the Community Award is Elliot Jackson of the Westcliffe Center for Performing Arts. She is an active volunteer and creative who relishes bringing creative experiences to the community.
